Pompe hors service après 8 mois ...tout le fond de mon paludarium a refaire pour changer la pompe. Seul point positif elle ne fait pas trop de bruit une fois amorcée.

Very easy to set up and use (I put mine inside an empty cricket tub with some aquarium filter sponge and a bag of purigen to keep it from getting clogged by the hydroballs and maintain the water quality), and has been running non-stop for 6 months perfectly. The first one I ordered came with a European plug so I had to return it, the replacement also had one but Amazon gave me a free plug adapter when i contacted them so all good. Doesn't come with a massive amount of hydroballs, barely enough to do 1" of drainage in half a standard sized 54l aquarium so you'll definitely need more.

Love using this when making a waterfall using a false bottom in an terrarium using hydro balls (clay) as a bank, or a water table inside the terrarium

It works great!! It adds so much character to the tank and my Anoles love it. The only problem I had was it didn't come with the aquarium tubing that it was supposed to come with. ]: I got a cheap replacement though.

Really, this is a nice kit. Sure, it's basic....just a pump, tube, elbow, mesh, and hydroballs, but it forces you to use your imagination and build your own. I had the hubby drill a large enough hole in a hunk of driftwood for the hose, and it turned out really nice. Luckily there was a hollow part so you can't see where the water is coming out of the driftwood. I'm happy with being able to adjust the flow too.

Okay...this is a tricky thing to get to work. It took many trials and errors. So let me help save you a lot of frustration:1. Pick out a piece of throw-away tupperware.2. Cut a hole in the lid just big enough to fit the waterfall hose through.3. Drill lots of little holes in the tupperware bowl.4. Place waterfall motor in thd bowl and suction it to the bottom.5. Select waterfall intensity (medium worked best for us).6. Run tube through lid and connect it to the motor.7. Close lid.8. Place bowl in bottom of EMPTY terrarium where you want it.9. Fill the bottom of the terrarium with hydroballs that have been thoroughly rinsed while holding the tupperware bowl down to the ground. Fill with hydroballs to the top of the container's edge.10. Place screen mesh over hydroballs edge-to-edge in all directions of water feature's perimeter.11. Add a thin layer of moss (keeps substrate from making the water merky).12. Add substrate.13. Add other stuff (rocks, vines, plants, etc.).14. Add water.15. Plug it in and watch it flow.

It was okay. I had a little bit of trouble putting it together. I actually thought that it came with some kind of background, but it did not. My husband made one for me and helped me set it up. My toads like it and hang out underneath it a lot.

I bought this package in hopes of making a small waterfall feature for my Crested Geckos cage. I have a 18x18x18 cage and it took THREE bags of hydroballs to fill it that I had to go out and buy separately, because one did not come with this package (why, I have no idea?)1) The pump: One out of Five stars.Honestly, the pump is not worth it. Go to an outdoor pond, pool, or specialty aquarium shop and get one. This pump is VERY loud for the amount of water it pumps (or in my case, doesn't). When I opened it up to find out why it wasn't pumping, it turns out that the prongs that propel the water through the pump were cracked and/or missing.... there was only one working prong, which wasn't enough to propel the water with enough force up the output tube.2) The mesh: ZERO out of Five stars / Five out of Five stars. It's just mesh, so why give it such a bad review? Because I didn't get any. 5/5 if I did get some.3) The hydroballs: ZERO out of Five stars / Three out of Five stars.Same as above. I did not get any in my package for some reason. But the bags I did purchase, about 1/4th of them were broken and the rest were EXTREMELY dirty, no matter how many times I washed them... so they get 3/5 stars.4) The tubing: Four out of Five Stars.Would be 5/5 stars if the tubing was a little less thick, and you could at least bend it at mild angles.

Thanks for the ideas Mathew and B.Baca! Kit came as promised. Hydroballs were all in good shape but did take a while to rinse. Created a rock waterfall and a pondless pool. Put larger cobble over the mesh and it works like a charm. More water output than I expected! Lots of compliments. Looks natural in the terrarium. I love that it allows you to be creative in your design so you have a unique landscape.
