I use this drying rack in my studio. I have it elevated on a small table. It is sturdy and does not wobble at all. Assembly took maybe 15 minutes out of the box. This is great for Gelli prints! I have also used this for coffee-dyed papers and small 8 x 10 canvases. It will accommodate larger surfaces. A game changer for me and I do recommend for any art room.

My wife and I are both public school art teachers and from time to tome we like to do our own art work at home. This was a great find for us because we don't have a ton of space and we didn't need to hold a lot. The rack was easy to put together and went up pretty quickly. We did not find any sharp edges anywhere on this rack, however, I can see where some people may have had them on theirs. The wire racks have a pretty solid coating on them to prevent rust and we are very happy about that. The racks move smoothly and there is enough space to hold our flat work for drying. All in all we are very satisfied with this item and highly recommend this for any home artist!

Took a minute to assemble but now it's ready to go! It is so amazing and convenient to have ap lace for the kids to put their wet art (paint, glue, etc); to try without crowding their desks and not getting destroyed. We use this probably 2-3 times a week in my 1st grade classroom. Great product! Oh, also no sharp edges.

I had no idea drying racks like this were available. I do small scale printmaking with a gel plate. Usually a print session means pages laid out on top of every flat surface and covering the floor around me, to dry.But now I have this rack!Size - the rack sent to me is about 18 x 24inches when assembled, and about 16 inches tall. It is not too heavy to move when fully assembled, but you'd have to move it carefully if it was loaded with drying papers. The rack shelves are about an inch apart. Papers/panels as large as 11x17inches fit on each rack shelf, or fit 2 pieces that are standard letter size, side by side on a single rack shelf. I used cookie sheets for groups of papers from projects on the shelves for some short term storage. There are 20 shelves, so I still have half the rack for drying work. The price for the drying rack seemed comparable to other drying racks on Amazon. The advantage of this rack is it sits on a table when in use and hides in a corner or under a table when you clean up for open studio time. It's easy to slide material onto the shelves. If you load the shelves in order from bottom to top, you can pull up the shelves a little to get some extra room. I work on tissue paper sometimes, so I ordered some corrugated plastic to use as a tray of sorts for tissue paper prints. (Or corrugated cardboard covered with freezer paper would work, too.)I think this is a good product. (Another reviewer had trouble with sharp edges. I ran my hands all over the surfaces of the rack - not any sharp edges on the rack I was sent.) Glad to have this rack and give it the five stars it deserves!

This art drying rack appeared to have been previously returned. No parts were wrapped in the box and one set of wire shelves had the zip tie cut and lying in the box. The first set of shelves I installed was a little difficult to get to lay evenly. The second set of shelves that I had to cut the zip tie on to install went in much better. The art drying rack is sturdy..However, there are multiple sharp edges where the middle wires are attached to the outside edges of the wire shelves on several of the shelves. I cut my hand several times trying to assemble this art drying rack. I would not recommend this rack be used anywhere near children because of the potential of getting their hands cut when placing artwork. I also would wear protective gloves when touching the wire shelves. It may be possible to sand down the sharp edges and apply a coating to fix the problem.

I've got an upcoming screenprint endeavor which requires a drying rack, and this tabletop model seemed perfect for my small working space. In setting it up and getting to work, I concluded it might not be worth $99, but it certainly does the job.The rack showed up disassembled, but having the necessary tools on hand, I put this together pretty quickly. Two notes though:1. Assembly requires a Philips head screwdriver, which is not included.2. Ensure the wire shelves are sitting horizontal. While assembling, it initially seemed like the wire shelves were *meant* to sit at an incline...until one side's tilted shelves prevented me from inserting the opposite side's shelves as intended. (Another reviewer may have run into this issue, from what I read.)What I found upon using it:Pros: It does what it's supposed to! All assembly notes aside, this has proven to be a solid solution for my print-drying needs.Cons: It's not really worth $99. This is a small, simple rack built from some sort of powder-coated alloy rather than stainless steel, so it's not necessarily boasting additional features or top-shelf material quality. But, again, it does the job.

This rack was easy to assemble (two bolts attached from the underside with a phillips screwdriver for the main frame). It feels sturdy and comes with many "shelf" attachments that slide in. I like that the shelves can be arranged so that you have more space or less space between them depending on the size of what you are drying and the number of shelves you need. The shelves are easy to add and remove. I would have liked the shelves to have a smaller mesh for smaller or more delicate/wetter items that may need that extra support. This rack will probably also be useful to "display" work at art shows since the artwork can easily and safely be stacked, slid out to view, and stored compactly and the rack can be transported easily once the shelves have been removed.I took two stars off my rating for availability and price. This item took a while to receive after ordering (it wasn't shipped until nearly a month after ordering) and the cost seems high for what it is.
