Very sturdy! Just a little shorter than most other fly swatters but very much worth it! The wire is heavy duty and the leather really slaps them bugs! The leather is softer than the average plastic option which shows outstanding performance on rugged surfaces.

These babies have held up well to the hundreds of shield bugs and lantern flies that we have dispatched. There is something gratifying to hear the loud leather crack of a good swat on pests that are swarming our porch. Needles to say a plastic swatter would not have held up to the number of bugs we have killed because there are well, plastic.

Update: My mom did indeed work her way through one of these, but the rest are still accumulating a steady kill count.I bought these primarily for my mother who is infamous for furiously slapping flies into the next dimension. Usually, any plastic fly swatter she uses is shattered by the end of summer. These swatters fortunately, are much more resistant. The handles are stiff and inflexible, so it took a few tries to adjust to fly slapping instead of swinging, but then we all got the hang of it and they were quite efficient. So far, they’ve held up well and seem like they will at least last a few years.

I literally haven't missed a fly since I got these. They are the best flyswatters I've ever used. I would definitely buy these again if I needed to but they are very well made so probably won't need to. Worth every penny.

My parents love this fly swatter. I bought this to my parents because I bought some similar fly swatter 1 year and 5 month ago and love it and still using it and have not broke/ torn. The difference between the first time I bought (different seller) and sound time I bought from this seller is, the fly swatter has the same size but the one I bought from a different seller has long handle, but both seller has same price $18.99. But this seller has 4 fly swatter and the other seller is only 2 fly swatter. The thing I like about this fly swatter and the other seller I bought with 2 fly swatter is, it can kill fly and any insect that come into my house. But if you want a long handle then you might not want this one because I like it with a longer handle. But it still a very good fly swatter with a good price. 5 star, for a fly swatter that can kill fly and don't broke/ torn in 1 to 5 time use.
