I have to do some research but as a replacement wine I'm not very good with metrics to inches sorry but, it seems very very very tiny now that being said if it being tiny and it works and makes the fuel flow even more minimal than I'm all for it I guess time will tell.

This is not 4mm inner diameter, it's 4mm outer diameter. Wish this was clarified in the description. Too small for me to use for diesel heater. I'll keep It Incase I ever need it but I pretty much wasted my money due to bad description. You need 3/16 or 4mm inner diameter for diesel heater and 5/16 outer diameter Incase anyone else is needing one. This will not work.

Common advice for the chinese diesel heaters is to get rid of the soft green fuel line that often comes with the heater. Reccomended is hard nylon line 2mm ID, 4mm OD. On my heater the green hose came pre- kinked and I had to cut off the end that attaches to the heater. I wanted to avoid any deterioration leading to leaking because diesel stinks. So, I replaced all the green stuff and added a fuel filter. This is almost certainly not nylon, but should be stout enough and stiff enough to stand up. My guess would be HDPE.The fingernail test scratches this quite easily but, the clamps hold and it primes quickly with the smaller line ID. We'll see how it ages but diesel cans are made of HDPE so it should be OK.

This is exactly what I was looking for and works great to replace the soft fuel lines that come with the Chinese diesel heaters. I was missing a clamp and the seller offered me a small refund to make up for it, which was more then fair! Excellent customer service!
