They seen to be a fine replacement fuse. I haven't tested them to know that they blow at a specific value, so I will have to trust that.

I needed new fuses for my electrical testing device. Could not find .5 amp 250 volt fuses anywhere. Got 10 from Amazon for reasonable price and they work fine.

It is exactly what it says. A fuse. It conducts electricity perfectly under 10 amps. It burns up perfectly when more than 10 amps passes through it. The features Amazon asks about are, 1) value for the money, 2) thickness, and 3) sheerness. I will answer these in order.1) These are not terribly expensive. I needed 1. I got 10. I have used a grand total of 1. I now have 9 left over. Will I ever use them all? Who knows. Maybe, someday. However, I suspect I may use another, perhaps 2, and that drives the cost per used fuse down. I did look for these locally and found not a single one, anywhere. Not Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace Hardware, Batteries and Bulbs, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and 3 different computer repair shops. I probably spent over 8$ worth of gas just driving around trying to find these fuses. If I had just ordered them here to start with, I would have only spent $6 on 10 fuses instead of $14. Considering the headache I had through the entire process, I would say these are worth the price.2) These are 5mm in diameter and 20mm long. Exactly the same size as the one I burned out in the first place. Not to thick, not too thin. Just right. Why Amazon thought this was important, I will never know.3) Seriously? It's a clear glass fuse with metal ends. Clear glass. CLEAR.

I'm an amateur electronics tinkerer with very little formal training. During some experimenting, I blew the fuse in my AstroAI multimeter when using it's ammeter function. This type of fuse was recommended by the manufacturer so I bought this pack. Knowing the limits of the fuse now, I don't intend to keep popping fuses in the multimeter so a pack of 10 is overdoing it, but it seemed to be the best ratio of price to product for my needs.I've only used the AstroAI multimeter a few times since then, but it's working fine so as far as I'm concerned these fuses are of good quality.
