Nice little speaker all on it's own, but you add in the mic power and lights and you have a party-to-go.We have a bunch of karaoke setups around the house, and this one really stands out for it's versatility. The speaker sounds decent and gets loud enough that it's a useful addition to our collection just on it's merits as a portable speaker. I found myself taking it out to the garage with me the last few days when I went to do some work. The bluetooth connects better, stays connected, and flat out SOUNDS better than the shelf stereo I keep out there. The mics sound clear, and fit perfectly in their little spots attached to the back of the speaker. If you've owned several machines at once you know what a great feature that is- when there are kids involved the mics tend to wander off and disappear. I strongly prefer karaoke machines that have a place for them built in, so this is a win for me.The kids like the lights and that you can change them. They're a fun touch, but simple- I wasn't wowed enough to want to play around with the settings. They all function well and are easy to navigate. The whole speaker is easy to navigate, even for kids. I really appreciate the card slots. I can pop a card in for the kids and leave them to play, and don't have to be on call to change songs on my phone for them. Another win!Overall this speaker sounds good, looks good, is fun to sing with, and is holding up to a bunch of younger kids' play very well.I recommend it if you want better than average sound for singalongs, and a solidly fun design that seems like it'll hold up. Great find!

If you've heard about ZZA because their K8 is an incredible value... this one is nothing like that. The sound quality is weak, the controls are janky, and the mics are really poor. The K8 is definitely worth it though.

This Bluetooth boombox comes in a simple labeled box, packed in custom cut foam and includes charging cables and a very simple double sided instruction half sheet. You will want to read it as every one of the buttons has more than one function depending on if you quick press or hold it.The housing seems sturdy if not quite able to handle a fall overly well. The lights on the front can be changed but only have 4 settings that I can tell and are quite distracting. The sound isn’t amazing but decent with a nice volume range. I am bothered that volume is controlled with a long press which means if you want things a hair softer or louder, it’s harder to achieve. The microphones are ok, once again not amazing but decent, capturing voice without to much background but will pick up breath and wind easily no matter the setting. I have no clue on the waterproof aspect and not overly interested in trying it only to learn it doesn’t work and the product ends up ruined.Priced at $45.99 at the time of this review, for a set up like this that does a decent job of what it offers, it works if not giving the best results.

This little speaker is better than I expected. I ordered the black handle version. I don't have a radio or power outlet in my work vehicle. I like to listen to music or podcasts while working to make the day go by quicker. I've tried many portable bluetooth speakers. My usual problems with speakers are that they aren't loud enough or the battery doesn't last my entire shift. I also need something somewhat compact to fit on the dashboard. I need a speaker loud enough to hear over engine and road noise from my work vehicle. I also need a speaker that can last all day and into the night. As far as battery life goes, this thing is great. I've used this for 10 hours straight at a pretty good volume. It lasts longer than the description says it will. I don't really use the party lights or microphones. I did test out the microphones, and they are pretty nice. Each is USB-C rechargeable. The microphones have different modes to change your voice or give an echo. They each have their own independent volume control. The mic holders keep them stored neatly on the back of the boombox. I like that the holders are removable. The lights would be cool for a party, but I use this while driving, so it would just be a distraction. It looks like there was a typo with the title where it says 100w. This is actually corrected in the description at 40w. You have 2 x 20w speakers. This is why I never order based on titles or pictures. I always read the description and reviews. I found other sellers who had the K9 speaker and read their reviews. You need to do due diligence when shopping online. Compared to my other 40w portable speaker, this one blows it out of the water. This is much louder. You do need to turn up the volume on the boombox independent from your device. At first, I only turned up my phone volume and thought it was good but not great. After I realized you had to turn up the volume on the stereo, I did, and it blew me away. There is a good mix of highs, mids, and lows. I like that the boombox has buttons to control your music. It also supports multiple connections other than Bluetooth. It can read usb flash drives, TF cards, or 3.5mm audio jack. This is bigger than my other portable speakers but still compact enough to fit in my backpack with my work supplies. I like that it has a nice big handle for carrying it around. It also has 2 loops to hook up a shoulder strap. This speaker sits great on my dashboard. It has pads on the bottom with a really nice grip to keep it from sliding around. I like that the speakers are angled to the sides. When I have a helper in the passenger seat, we both hear it great. I am very happy with this portable bluetooth stereo. This did include a user guide, 3.5mm aux, and a USB-C cable. The shoulder strap was not included, I jad it laying around from an old duffel bag. There is a charging indicator light. It lights up red while it's charging and turns off when fully charged. All you need is a screen like a tablet, laptop, or even a phone to play music and show the lyrics for a nice little portable karaoke machine.
