This is a set of two (2) authentic European wooden nutcrackers.
The popular mushroom shape works perfectly to crack the shells without making a mess. Twisting the cap is much easier than the squeeze style nutcrackers. The gentle control of cracking the shells means that the inner seed doesn't need to be smashed from too much force.
These nutcrackers are easier, cleaner, and give you an unbroken seed to enjoy.

How to Crack Nuts with the Mushroom and Toadstool Nutcracker Set
Twist the mushroom cap counter clockwise to retract the screw shaft. Pull it back far enough to accommodate a shell into the nut chamber.
Snug in place, twist the mushroom cap clockwise to squeeze and fracture the shell.
There’s no need to over tighten and risk damaging the seed. Stop when you hear the crack.
A smaller nut, like a hazelnut, shatters quickly. The pieces of broken shell are neatly contained in the nut chamber.
A larger nut, like a walnut, can be rotated and cracked on a few sides to protect the natural shape of the seed.
These nutcrackers give you beautifully intact shelled walnuts seeds.

Not only are these lil guys stinking cute they work better than the old-fashioned metal squeeze type crackers. They make a great decoration while being functional too

I got these as a christmas present for my husband so we could crack walnuts together for baking with, and it was fun! These are so cute that I decided to have them out where you can see them in the kitchen 😍 great quality too! I imagine we will have these for years to come and use them frequently.

They feel larger in real life than I expected and they're truly easy to use, even for the little ones. My initial intention was to bring them out at Christmas time for our nuts stocking stuffers tradition, but they're so beautiful and whimsical they've just stayed out all year!
