Gauge did not work. Read 35 psi when it should have been 60 psi. I installed a new fuel pump and the pressure was still 35. Used a different gauge, it read 60 psi.

I ordered this fuel pressure tester kit for preventive maintenance and diagnosis of the fuel pumps on my vehicles. Since my previous fuel pressure test kit failed, this one was a good choice because it has all the features I was used to.Many people don’t realize it is possible to foresee a potential fuel pump failure before it occurs. I do a fuel pump pressure test to monitor the output pressure every 5,000 miles when I change my oil and rotate my tires. An early sign of failure is when the rated pressure drops or the pressure leaks down. There is variation among vehicle brands, but typical fuel pressures for fuel-injected engines are 40 to 60 PSI.The fit and finish of all the kit components are very good. The kit comes with various connectors that should fit practically any vehicle currently on the road. It even comes with a custom case, which helps maintain organization. I can tell at a glance if I have forgotten any of the parts.While I don’t have an independent method of testing accuracy, the results I am getting with this new gauge are consistent with my previous gauge, which speaks to the reliability of this kit. This consistency gives me confidence in the accuracy of the results.My overall experience with this fuel pressure tester kit has been superb. If you are in the market for one, you owe it to yourself to consider this product.

The things I like best about the Cenforge fuel pressure tester kit are the 3-inch dial and the length of the hose. The gauge also has a push button pressure release valve with a 15-inch clear plastic line to drain off any pressure or fuel. The kit comes with a good selection of brass adapters and 2 sections of rubber hose to adapt to the fuel system. I was able to configure it for use on a 1980's American vehicle, however I had to get creative because none of the adapters had the thread that was on the fuel rail. To be fair, there are a lot of different manufacturers and it would be difficult to try to cover every application. The kit comes in a blow molded case and it has a place for everything. I can recommend it as the components are of average quality based on its price point. I just wish it had more adapters that would fit the actual gauge. Just be aware that you may have to source an adapter for it to fit your specific application.
