These rustic clavos or decorative nails are typically used to decorate doors, gates, cabinets, copper sheeting projects, furniture and more. These are unfinished and will have some surface patina on them, adding to the rustic look that they offer. Solid copper is the choice when applying them to copper sheeting (as in range hoods) to prevent unwanted metal interactions. Advisable to predrill pilot hole before tapping in since copper nail stem is softer that steel.
