I had this 80% AR15 lower which I had completed the router and drilling work. Right before I was ready to Cerakote the entire project, I checked to see if the buffer tube would install on the lower. The threads would not start. Why it was so undersized was not obvious. Way too much had been invested not to spend money on a tap. This tap worked perfectly.

When I placed the order showed next day, then two days later I get want be delivered until June 1-22 about 30 days later. I did received the product but was to late, purchased another one from eBay. There was not a quality issue and I did ask for a refund, which was approved so long as I mail back to China at more than what the product cost. So beware if you try to return forget it. If you can wait 30 days order on my wayward sons.

I used this on my polymer lower and it worked great, if you're looking for the right fitment for your buffer tube this is it.

This tap work excellently on the threads in my 80% lower. The threads had gotten banged up during the milling process and this tool fixed them right up!!!Very happy with this tool.

I didn't really need it, but that one time that I do need it,I have it. I did try it on one of my rec. and it worked great. I would recommend it to any body that builds AR's as a hobby, you can't go wrong getting it.
