I should say upfront that this item has worked as promised. However, the glass is quite thin especially the handle, and it is the handle that scares me. One full gallon of iced tea, or water, whatever, is over 8 pounds. I am no structural engineer, but my intuition tells me this handle is far too delicate for the job expected of it. I have visions of it breaking and slicing my hand as it falls. Silly maybe but I try not to use the handle unless half full, though this is awkward.

Heavy and sturdy glass pitcher with tight top with choice of pour openings. I washed pitcher in dishwasher without problems but washed top by hand. Beverages seem to taste better when stored in glass.

Works great! the seal on this is nice, its super easy to clean, and really helpful with getting my water in. I can fill this up in the morning and refill my water all day as I work without having to go downstairs for refills. I like how much this holds. It is even nice if I want to have some lemon or cucumber water.

It's very nice looking, as the product pictures show. The top fits snugly; it has an open side for pouring, and a filtered side to hold back ice, or whatever else you may have mixed in your beverage.Without the lid, the opening is large enough to easily clean. One small problem I have with the lid is the rubber seal; it's angled in a way to retain liquid after pouring. Minor nitpick, admittedly. The larger problem is that I just can't get over how fragile this glass pitcher feels for how large it is. The weight of a gallon of liquid is substantial, but the glass simply feels too thin, and I feel like the handle will just break off in the middle of pouring.I need to stress that this hasn't happened! It just feels that way, and it freaks me out. I've only made the one pitcher of iced tea, and so far, so good, but I think it would have been better for me to get 1/2 gallon.

This is a nice 2 liter pitcher. I like it, but it's not my favorite.Pros:- large 2 liter size- Made from thermal sock resistant Borosilicate glass- Includes a top/with pour spout- Fits in fridge door shelfCons:- It is Borosilicate, but it feels a bit thin compared to some of our other Borosilicate glass items- The handle is a nice feature but feels a bit awkward and thin. I think I prefer the lid/handle attachment for mason jar style pitchers- The lid is a less than impressive. It doesn't really seal the pitcher.Overall I like this pitcher - but I think it could be better.

Overall, a very pretty and easy to use pitcher!Things that matter to me on a pitcher:-- Easy to clean - this one allows our Oxo scrubber head to go in, and my wrist fits so I can clean the inside - all of it!-- Strainer for pulp - Yes please! There are two openings on the lid - one with a straining feature, and one with a basic pour with nothing in the way-- Easy to carry - The handle is somewhat large, but that also makes it perfect for me to carry as well as my spouse-- Keeps beverages the ideal temperature - this is where this guy "fails" - it is a single layer of thick glass, so somewhat insulated, however it won't keep drinks cold or warm without help. You can put ice in it and use the strainer, however that would water down the drinks (unless you used stones or some other form of frozen something to keep it cool)
