These are high quality carafes with thick glass, solid and hefty, like you would see at many cafes for serving water or iced tea or lemonade or juice. I would give them more stars, but the listing is misleading -- they are 1-Liter carafes, not 2-Liter like it says in the title of the listing.My set also came with only 1 single lid, not 4 -- that makes these significantly less useful and less value for the money. Now I need to go to the trouble of finding additional lids.

This set of four glass carafes is a great value. Each one holds approximately 1 L of liquid and comes with a plastic lid that fits over the top. The glass is thick, sturdy and substantial - these do not break easily! The shape comes up straight from the round base approximately halfway before tapering in, then flaring out again at the rim. This design is both functional and attractive, as it allows for a smooth pour without the liquid running down the side of the carafe and missing the glass you’re trying to pour into. They’re easy to clean in the dishwasher, although the plastic lids are best hand washed to avoid damage or warping from the high heat of the dishwasher.This would make a lovely set to use at something like a baby or bridal shower or a brunch. The clear glass allows everyone to see clearly what is inside each one. Particularly if you like to entertain, this set is a great option.

These carafes are very well made, even though they're not the thickest we've owned. One of the lids came bent and I thought for sure it would be a goner, but when I popped it back on, it was perfect again.These are the perfect size for taking outside for a get together or picnic; I'm bringing them to a crawfish boil next weekend!I used ours for sweet tea recently and Ill use them for wassail and more in the future.I'm really happy with these!

These are so convenient for keeping water or other drinks cool! I love the lid feature. We have even used them for salsa to serve when friends come over!

These carafes will do the job. They arrived in secure packaging, and look nice. They seem pretty sturdy, too. I do wish the lids felt a bit more secure; it’s easy for them to just pop off if they get nudged, and they probably wouldn’t be great for storing the drink for any significant period of time after the event/meal/whatever you’re using them for, if you had leftovers.

These are just like the ones you get at your table in a restaurant when you order a carafe of orange juice, wine, mimosas or sangria. They feel sturdy and well-made. And the glass is clear so you can easily see what's inside.Each carafe comes with a plastic lid. The lids, although not air-tight, do fit correctly, and will do a good job outdoors by keeping flying insects out of each carafe when they're patiently waiting to be picked up for their next pour.I see an ice chest cooler in my future, holding all four of these at the same time during summer cookouts. I can picture using all at the same time: iced tea in one, lemonade in another, white wine in the 3rd, and yes, I'll say it: mai tais in the 4th.

These jars were perfect for our juicing needs. We make our own juice, and these jars are the perfect size for storing the juice in the fridge. The lid is easy to take off and on, yet creates a nice seal to keep the juice fresh. We also used these at a recent dinner party to place ice water on the table, and they looked great with the table decor. The large mouth of the jar makes these easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. They were a great price and I'll be purchasing another set as we like them so much.
