As soon as this arrived, the first thing that came to mind was that this looks like what clowns in the circus used. The red color of the horn is bold and will be noticeable when riding around on my bike. The horn is 8" long overall and the horn part (red) measures about 5 5/8 with the black rubber squeeze ball the rest of the length. This is a loud horn make no mistake about it and would put to shame the "ringee-ringee" bicycle bells of the past. The clamp to attach the horn to your handlebars is aluminum and looks cheap but works. Of course, you can't ride your bike in the winter so this horn will certainly come in handy if you want to act like a clown until springtime.
