I purchase this to replace the stock shifter handle because it shows it fits my car. I have used every adapter and while it will fit the shaft, the button does not do anything so I can't shift the car out of park.

Bought this for a 2005 Volvo XC90 and the ease of installation was appreciated and project took me about 45 minutes with 30 of them being the removal of the original handle. Worst part. The only issue with this item is that the weather affects it. Due to it being metal, it has been blistering hot to the touch (100+ degree weather here) so it would be nice if they added something such as a silicone sleeve for protection against burns/injuries. Overall though a great purchase
