This is not a tool that I use all the time but when I need one…I NEED one…IYKYK. I just happened to NEED it and the one I owned apparently grew legs, packed up and moved out without notice. I am not sure why because I treated it very nice and it had its own little “apartment” in my socket drawer so I always knew where to find it when I needed it. That apartment was empty when I went knocking to ask for help this last time and I KNEW Immediately that “I would never see it again” and that it needed to be replaced. I was happy to find this option! This tenant is more affordable than my last one and more affordable than picking one up locally from a parts store so for me this passed all the background check criteria I needed to satisfy in order to move it in. It is just as good as my last one and it is beefy and heavy duty feeling. It has fit everywhere I have needed it so far and I see nothing wrong with it whatsoever. I am happy with it overall and I hope, this time, I have a lifetime tenant. This fits my ⅜’’ stuff perfectly and it has external hex to grab with a wrench or pair of pliers if needed. I can see this lasting the rest of my life just fine.Overall, this is a great value for a tool that most people will only use once or twice in their lifetimes and it will do much more work than that. Even in a shop setting I can see this being a great buy. I would recommend this one and I would absolutely order this one again. Great value at $7.99 at the time of this review!

I found several sensors on vehicles I maintain that this socket can slide over the top of and be used just like any other bolt. Open ended wrenches certainly have their place and up until now, they had to do the job.Unfortunately when dissimilar metals and various fluids, sometimes corrosive, do their work, it ends up being a very tight fit and hard to break loose. If using an open ended wrench in that instance, sometimes having a hold of just two sides isn't enough and you round it off or bust your knuckles or both. This way with this socket, it grabs all sides of the sensor and with a little bit of effort, pops them free and can also be easily torqued down as well.
