Unless you use a wet cloth, there is ghosting. It’s smaller than I expected Amber but I’m sure he gave the dimensions and I just didn’t read them the magnets are very strong you have to use the included adhesive strip and attach the middle bar to your mom at her, though. I decided I don’t want to do that.

Love the idea of this but the two issues that happened are:1) The magnets came out of the whiteboard very soon after it was put into use. So glue or a replacement is a must.2) If you mount this on the left of your monitor the to-do list is upside down.

I needed a place to jot down quick notes-to-self while at my computer, and this looked like a good idea. Finding a place to stick the metal strip on my monitor was a bit challenging (my monitor has slightly sloped sides and backing), but once I figured that out, this works fine. The little whiteboard can be taken down and put back easily with the magnets, and I like that both sides are functional whiteboards (so if the first becomes too stained or otherwise compromised I can just flip it over). That said, there isn't a ton of room for lengthy writing, and you need to remember to leave room to grip the board for taking it down and putting it back up without smudging; at least the way my monitor is set up, I can't just lean over and jot on it in situ. You also have to pay attention to how you use the space around where you put it, so you don't keep knocking it while reaching for other things; the magnet holds the board in place well, but not so strongly as to resist casual accidental hits.

The first thing I did when I received this item is glue one of the two metal pieces that detached from the side of the white board after first use. The second thing I did was glue the second one, which came detached a few days later. Additionally, the white dry erase material chipped on some areas revealing the brown masonite underneath.This product would have gotten five stars from me if it had worked as it should and hadn't broken because it could be so useful and is such a great idea.

Easy to install. Magnet allows for easy remove or back on if I need to go behind monitor. Great for those odds n end notes.

I have a metal bed frame and keep this whiteboard on the side to take notes when reading. It’s very practical and has strong magnets.
