I ordered several items from Amazon to contact TVs in multiple rooms. My kitchen is back to back with my sat receiver, in the living room and another on my desk. The wall mount HDMI outlet I purchased has a female on the faceplate and a pigtail with a female connection on the other, the dual outlet faceplate wad also female to female so the easy way to connect without a lot of extra cable inside thr wall, this made the perfect solution. 🥰 works great. It is a shame I spent years of messing with Balun's, CAT 5, transmitter/receiver devices that I could never get working all on one splitter device until now. One four port HDMI splitter and those parts on Amazon I am a happy camper.

If you use the plates in series as if you are running a cable between the plates through the wall, you get no signal.
