This 10 foot, 3-prong power cord supports 10 amps current, has 18ga. wire. I ordered it to replace a 70 - year - old power cord on a 1955 Hickok tube tester. The tester draws nowhere near 10 amps, so it was a good fit. The molded covering over the plug and outlet were perfect, and the jacket of the cord was a nice, supple plastic, not the stiff, unfriendly stuff I've seen on other replacement cords. I'll admit I cut the female end off to solder into the tester- I didn't want to convert it to a modern receptacle. A bonus was the ground lead, which I attached to the chassis, (it was a two-wire cord originally.) A good value at under $10.

When I looked at the picture, I noticed it was similar to electrical power cords I use on my speakers and stage monitors, so I investigated further. This cord does indeed work with my monitors and speakers. I put it to use right after I received it, and it works fine. I especially like that it is 10 feet long and gives me better options for speaker and monitor placement over the 5 and 6-foot cords that came with them. It's a nice addition to the selection of cords I keep on hand for set up at different venues. I'd recommend it to others, and I'd purchase it again.
