Most cords are way too long for one’s needs. In my case, my computer sits atop a power console. So instead of using the original 6’ cord that came with my monitor, and later my iMac, I can use this shorter cord, making for a cleaner setup.

Nicely made, functional and inexpensive power cord. I've used these for years when I wanted a shorter length than the stock power cords that came with various pieces of equipment. I've never had an issue with any of them.

Very sturdy and long enough to be used in different setting. I'm using it for my computer monitor that I bought and came with a much shorter and flimsier chord.
