Perfect for the solar on my camper. The old wiring was completely rotten and the plug was broken. This was long enough with plugs on both ends so now I have a backup cable.

I purchased this extension cord to use with my 12 volt ,20 watt solar panel battery charger. My solar panel had to be located further away from my battery then its supplied cord allowed. This extension cord plugged right into its plugs (tight fit so I know they won't accidently come apart). The wire gage is larger than what came with the solar panel so I know it will carry the voltage that distance (I checked with the solar panel manufacture ahead of time just to be sure). Not sure if I'll ever use the polarity reversing plug that came with it, but hey you never know.

This is as flexible of a 10awg SAE cable as you can get. The jacket says it is 600V, 10awg. However, there is nothing indicating it has been certified by any authority. Because of that, I cannot give five stars. If it were UL listed, or even certified elsewhere, I would give this cable five stars.The adapter is needed so you don't end up switching red and black and confusing yourself. Yes, red will plug into black, but good luck telling which is which after a few runs or extensions. Hence the adapter so the cable remains red for positive, black for negative.4/5 stars, thanks!

Good for temporary connections. The connectors seems to overheat even passing 5amps or less.

25 foot extension is nice to get your solar panel out in the sun real good. i’m very pleased.
