I was thinking about buying a bigger brand name while I was building up my tool cart but decided to try and save money on this set of hooks and picks. Everything is working as expected and I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on anything so far over a bigger brand name. The only slight down side that I can see is that some of the hooks are hard to pull out of the pack with the two hold down points. It’s nice to have the large handles for using on long projects.

I’ve got a small set of Picks from Harbor Freight, but it was just never complete enough for me to get some jobs done. Sometimes you just need two of the same angled picks. I was about to pick-up another set of the same until I saw this one.This set is so much better, with robust handles and harder rust resistant steel. Although the handles are so much larger than my other set that sometimes they are not as good for detail work or tight spaces, but the necks on some of them are longer, which is a good thing.The case is very nice, although I might use that for something else, as I like to have all my picks on an easy to grab wall magnet. I was glad to see that this comes with a scraper and having another extendable magnet pick-up in my tool collection is a nice addition.

I have a couple smaller versions of this type of hook set..I was surprised when there showed up...they are meatythe handles fit a mans hands and they are molded well and strong enough to really allow a lot of force to be generated without the tool breakingquite surprisedA nice case is also included...I bought a second set for the work van I liked them so much

This is a huge set of picks. Not only is it a huge set of picks, but the picks themselves are pretty large in size too. The handle is the biggest part of the pick, which allows for some leverage and good grip but does sacrifice the ability to get these oversized picks into small places.Due to the size of these picka, they are best for large wires, big o rings, etc.This kit comes with an extendable magnet as well which I would rate as a medium strong magnet. What I like most about this pick set is that it comes in a carrying case which keeps me from accidentally poking my fingers since the picks are zipped up.One thing to note though is that the case is pretty large and will not fit into my medium sized toolbag. These picks will be staying in the shop due to their size and storage limitations. They do have holes in them as well to wall mount but I prefer keeping picks inside of a case. I'd rate the quality of these picks as mid grade. Due to their size they will work on about 75% of the most "shop work" scenarios.
