I have a 5gal jug from when I road-raced motorcycles 20yrs ago. The breather cap dry-rotted and broke off. I bought these, despite only needing 1. To my SHOCK!!!!... They are not all that universal and after removing the original breather valve, I put it back in as the hole was too large. These actually fit inside the original one due to their smaller size. As seen in my pics provided.So if you get these, just know that you may not need to remove your old one and these may fit inside of it. Oh, why 3 stars???? ... because I had to put my old one back in to make this fit.... UNIVERSAL.... my ass!!!!:-)

The part that snaps into the gas can was smaller than the one I replaced. But if you are putting them on a gas can that came without a vent, they work great.

Installed on Several Fuel Jugs, really easy to do & Fits perfect, excellent replacement item, good luck finding such items at street stores, and this price is low enough !
