These are perfect for germinating veggies. A little on the small side but it’s sturdy and does the job. The roots are able to break through the base, which allows you to plant them directly in the soil without removing it from the container. Makes germinating easier.

No drainage holes so these soak up EVERYTHING. In fact, they hold on to moisture so much that they become flimsy while in the seed starting process. They aren’t very functional. Moving these is almost impossible, so be sure to use trays. They do tear very easily though if you are trying to up pot your seedlings without damaging the roots. They are very small so you will need to up pot early.

I got two types of these pots. This brand gets mold on top of whatever I plant. The other pots Dem a local store don’t have that problem. Don’t recommend.

Too small to do much other than a herb or two for kids to use.

I expected “typical” sized compartments in these trays. They are as described except that each slot has a length and width of 1.5 inches. Not what I was expecting.

I have used all of them for starting seeds. Just use a pair of scissors and cut to plant each individual plant.
