I live at 5,000 feet elevation. It takes 50% longer to grow sprouts at this high elevation. At sea level, you will see faster results. In my opinion, this product is five stars! I will show you my pictures. It has been two weeks since I started. At two weeks the sprouts are 2-3 inches above the tray! I recommend that you purchase the TPS Liquid Plant Food for aeroponics and hydroponics! I only used one of the six trays as a "test run." If you use all six trays at once, you may be able to feed your neighbors or start a small business! Add only one teaspoon of the TPS Liquid Plant Foodper one quart of cold water. The water must be cold. Provide as much direct sunlight as you possibly can, for example, next to the window. I did not use any grow lights at all. I kept this indoors 100% of the time to prevent any exposure to insects. Please see my pictures!

I liked the size for planting with a group of kids, but it was a little difficult to decide the volume of seeds to use to fully maximize the mat. I soaked the seeds following instructions I found to minimize any food borne pathogens, particularly since sprouting for out classroom, and they germinated quickly and well. Would use again.
