When I opened the packaging (specifically, the plastic packaging from the manufacturer, not the box from Amazon) it threw sharp aluminum shavings out.I had to spend an hour vacuuming up the area where I'd initially opened the packaging and then had to take the extrusions outside to finish the unpackaging, blow off the bulk of the chips with an air duster, and clean off the remaining chips and splinters with a combination of wet paper towels and wet cotton swabs.My best guess is that the extrusion was taped and then cut to length with no clean-up afterward.That could easily injure pets or small children. I wouldn't buy it again.

I used some of it for a prototype computer case. Compared to 80/20, it is incredibly inexpensive while still having okay quality. If I had a con for it, it would be that the grooves don't take 1/4" thick sheets very well.

I have ordered this product several times. Each time you could tap for a 5 mm screw in the end of each piece. Unfortunately, the hole is too large for a 5mm screw tap and you must use a 6 mm screw. Not a problem if you knew that in advance, but a problem if you are set up for 5mm. Very good otherwise.
