I learned about these from a friend that also has backyard chickens. The hole saw is very helpful. Plan out the spacing and drill. I used a larger plastic garbage can for this, which we place on concrete blocks and a couple 2x4’s laid flat. We can fit about 170-180 pounds of mash feed, and the chickens took right to it. This is great to let the chickens eat right from the storage container, rather than having to fill the feeder every few days or so. We love this upgrade!

I would give it 5 stars but the drill part broke. Feeders work but was only able to do 2. Metal was to flimsy.

I love the fact that this set comes with the bit vice just telling you what to buy if you're not typically installing door handles or something. We just keep needing more of these, even though they don't break or wear down (at least they haven't yet).
