So far they are great! Very bright. I typically leave them on for at least 10 hr a day and none have failed. I currently don’t have a battery hooked up to my camper so the converter is taking the load. With the incandescent bulbs the converter fan would come on signaling a load with these bulbs on the fan doesn’t come on so definitely not as much of a load on converter. They do get warm but not as hot as the incandescent bulbs. If you’re looking for something bright then get them!

The good:They don't get hot so the actual light covers won't get hot in the same place over and over and cause the plastic to fail...That was an issue for my fog lights. They are bright, so reverse light is much improved.Seller was prompt and product was new and as described. The so so: They are longer than the original, but still fit on my Volvo 940.The bad: They make the turn signal flash 5 times faster than the old ones. So basically like a non dimming bulb being put on a dimmer....not good for the system IMO and annoying both inside and outside the car, and potentially dangerous.Really should be a warning on the product.

It was my fault that I did not read the ad close enough. They are a soft white bulb and I didn't realize this until today when I installed one. They seem to be great if your looking for a soft white bulb but I was wanting bright white. Product arrived early and in perfect condition but It was not the color I was expecting. Not the sellers fault, totally my fault

Great lights for the cost. Ordered one set just to try and now going to order more to replace all the lights in the RV. Very happy with this purchase!

I have plugged in 2 bulbs and yes they are reasonably bright. I used another brand which I installed in our trailer last year, they may have burned for 20 hours and some not an hour but this year most of them only the centre diodes light up and the ones around the base do not. So we will wait and see with this brand.

Bought the 20 pack as they were the best value, really could have used six. Hopefully the extra will fit our vehicles. They're nice and bright a tiny bit brighter than the original bulbs but more energy efficient for the battery use when boondocking and not hot at all. Very happy with the overall brightness and the colour it makes the camper feel warm and there is no eye strain. I prefer these to the harsher bluish lamps.

I realize the 1156 is an automotive bulb and my application is different than most. My gas light on our front light post was replaced by a photoresistor light sensor and a dual bulb candelabra that takes 2 X 1156 bulbs. The issue is they are connected in series and run on a 24V power supply. What's worse is they are not connected correctly for these bulbs even if they can handle 24V. These bulbs worked fine on a 12V power supply I have but required positive on the tip and negative on the side. The way my front light is wired, one bulb has positive on the tip, then the side is a common rail, which means for bulb #1, the side is negative but on bulb #2, the side is positive meaning the tip is negative on bulb #2. So in the end, current does not flow through these bulbs. This is not a knock on these bulbs in any way and I can't comment on their longevity because they don't work for my application. But in my 12V testing, they were very bright.

Great value and easy to install. Did not have an issue with polarity or otherwise. We had older LED bulbs that were a higher kelvin that were more of a light blue color and these have the same hue as the traditional halogen bulbs if that is the color and hue that you desire. I tested each bulb prior to re-installing the fixture covers and all systems are go. I then left them on for an extended period seeking flicker or other signals of failed QC and did not find a flaw as of yet.We will be going on an extended camping trip and will see if we continue to see premium performance, but I must say that these are outstanding thus far. One factor I noticed for sure is that the actual diodes on this bulb are smaller and there are more; this should provide more even lighting and less of a flashlight effect that previous bulbs have provided. This would be a feature to look for in any LED bulb as the bigger the diode the more direct light will come from them and give the 'light in your eye' effect that we all despise. These seem to illuminate the entire area better and provide less direct light IMHO.My testing has been completed hooked up to 30 AMP/120 and I will be testing them under 12v deep cycle shortly; with any bulb you buy be sure to do this as you most likely will see a difference and do not want to waste your return capability if you are dissatisfied with the results in the setting you spend the most time. We dry camp most of the time; so we want them to work under a 12v deep cycle battery. If you have a park model or camp with hook-ups be sure to test in your most frequent set up.I will give an update after our trip and let everybody know if we see any cracks in the foundation here, but so far we see a clear winner.

I gave this product five stars because it worked exactly as advertised. I did not have any duds in the pack so far after a few months of using these to light my small camper trailer. I purchased these to replace the standard 12v filament bulbs in my vintage camper and the power savings compared to the old filament bulbs is considerable. I can turn on 8 or 9 of these bulbs and with all of them on the power draw is equal to one or two of the original filament bulbs which is exactly what I was hoping for. *** I must say that I chose the pure white over the soft white which was a mistake now that I've had them for a little while *** I wanted the brighter bulbs with clearer non-yellow light and I didn't pay attention to the other reviewers mention that the pure white ones are really bright. After all, that is what I wanted; the most efficient lighting solution when converting to LED. So I expected these to be bright but holy cow... If I put on all 8 in my living area I am squinting hard, its like an operating room in there now. If you are like me you are sitting there reading and wondering if you should go with the pure white ones anyway, my recommendation is if you are using these for interior RV lighting go with the soft white. I didn't like the idea of soft white so I got the pure white and the pure white is just too bright. And I am picky, I want it to be bright in my trailer, but I admit soft white is a better choice for converting your interior to LED. I got more than I asked for with how bright the pure white bulbs are, the soft white ones would still have been more than enough to light my camper. Either way, 5 stars, just heed my warning if you plan to use these in your camper and go with the soft white.

As with most people, we switched to LED for energy savings in our RV. The light contrast between the old style LED "warm" and these "white" lights is shown in the pictures. In my opinion, these lights are worth the few extra bucks we spent. The light is white versus the "warm" LED bulbs which (as described by several other buyers) have yellowish light with a slight green tinge. We left the "warm" lights in the sleeping area where we wanted a softer light, but used these bulbs in the living area. Definitely made a difference when reading or eating. There were no problems with excess heat or with bulbs not fitting.
