These shepherds hooks will be perfect for what I need them for. My son is getting married in an outdoor wedding. We are going to wire jars to the hooks and fill them with flowers and set them at the end of chair rows. They aren't very tall so will be perfect at chair height. I don't know how well they would work for potted plants since they aren't very far from the ground. Maybe small ones. After the wedding I'm going to put them along my flower beds and hang solar lanterns on them. The ground is still frozen here so I had to be careful putting it in. The prongs aren't very long and it almost felt like they could bend if I pushed too hard. I wish they were longer, just so I could get them further in the ground for more security. They screwed together easily in 3 pieces.

This set of 10 shepherd’s hooks is exactly what I needed for my deck! At 32” high, they’re a great size for holding an assortment of pots filled with artificial flowers. I’m not using them in the ground like many people probably do, but since my setup will be lightweight, I don’t anticipate any issues.I’m still in the process of putting everything together, but so far, these seem sturdy and well-made. They have a nice look to them, and I think they’ll work just fine for my needs. Excited to see the final setup!

Man, I keep getting suckered by these misleading pictures. These five shepherds hooks came in one of those bubble-wrap packages that they ship books in. I'm like, what?! I went back to read the description, and unfortunately for me, they do clearly state the hooks are 32". But the pictures make them look so much bigger. Just a tad on the misleading side. They come in four pieces that you screw together. The prongy part is only about 3 inches long, so I'm not sure how well this will stand up once you've got a heavy plant hanging from it. Oh well. Live and learn.

These shepherd's hooks are not what I expected - unlike every other garden hook I've seen which are roughly half and inch in thickness, these are about a quarter-inch. The thin metal and two-prong base make these pretty unstable. Despite pushing them into the ground fully, they were bending over within an hour, without any weight. I highly doubt these would be able to hold any significant weight either. I'll follow up with an edited review after I hang some heavy plants.Further, the size of the hook is maybe 6 inches, not wide enough to hold larger items. In fact, the picture on the item page doesn't accurately depict how they really are - it makes it look like it's 12 inches wide. Totally not the case.

Does not hold very much weight. Tried to put a small empty bird feeder on one and the Shepard hook bent to the ground.
