This is not heavy duty. Very thin poles as well as stakes that go into the ground.

These are nice hooks. I chose not to use one section as they are very tall almost too tall with all sections used. They are pretty stable with bird feeders or light weight objects. I installed mine in a flower bed where the dirt is fairly loose so when I hung flower pots they wanted to lean a little. I’m sure in more solid ground they will probably stand up fine. At least the pole is bending, these are heavy well made poles. Plus I really like the fact they screw together instead of just sliding, really an improvement. Nice finish and pretty hooks.I have several Shepard hooks in use and have the same leaning issue with all of them. Wind blows, it rains and they lean. I simply take a metal fence post , drive into the ground as close as possible and wire the hook pole to the fence post and they stand through storms with heavy pots and no issues. I just paint the post black to match and it’s really not noticeable.These are very nice durable strong Shepard hooks. Good choice
