Confirming it does not fit and it is not even close to the same thread size as 0L1729C. Wish I looked at the comments first

Do not purchase this part, it WON'T fit.Says it is a replacement for 0L2917C - but does NOT fit. The threaded end is much smaller and won't screw into the generator......waste of money!
