These tnuts work well in our 4040, 4080, and 8080 extruded aluminum. The spring tension works very well and may be a bit better / stronger than some of the others we've used. That spring really only matters when setting things up, but a welcomed feature.The tnuts secure well when tightened with the bolt, have good threaded slots for the bolts, and are holding up well.For under 18 cents a piece, that seems fairly reasonable for spring loaded tnuts.

These are well made and are of a quality build. I am building myself a Rail Bike and these will work just fine. In my application, I am using 40 Series Extruded Aluminum with M8-1.25 Fasteners. These Spring Loaded T Nuts will work just fine and provide a quality and secure assembly.Cheers 🍷

Well constructed great fit and no issues with threaded portions. Some pieces with the ball detent needed to be released ( bigger construction projects your fingers might get a bit sore😂). Worked and fit great.

These are threaded for 8mm but they are to small for 4040.
