Just got this home and hooked it up. It is much more powerful than the one that came with pool. Hoses fit good and was easy to purge the air. Good pump!

This is an impressive pump.It is made of good quality materials. All the pieces fit snuggly and correctly.The motor is quiet and strong.The electrical cord and plug in is strong and has many safety features.Unfortunately, I did not understand that these kinds of pumps cannot have their hoses go up and over your pool edge. This filtration system can only be used with pools that have the side holes for pump hoses.This filtration system deserves five stars, but their instructions are so bad it took me hours to figure out what they were telling me to do. I tried using the enclosed QR code and it took me to the incorrect assembly instructions.Now mind you, I am new to pool filtration systems, but I am tired of companies assuming we know how to assemble and use their products.Company - please fix your instructions and then you can have five stars for your excellent product.

Decent little pump. We purchased a couple different models to find out which worked best for our pool. We’ve narrowed it down to this unit and one other. This unit has everything you need, minus the sand. Assembly was easy and straightforward. The unit is relatively quiet. We’ve not run it long enough to see how well the filtration is, but we are hopeful it will be a win. So far, we recommend.

Right out of the box, it felt well-built, and installation was straightforward—even for someone not super handy. It came with all the basic hose connections, and the instructions were clear enough to get it running in under an hour.The filtration power is impressive for a 1000 GPH unit. It keeps the water clean and clear, pulling out fine debris and keeping the bottom of the pool noticeably cleaner. The 5-way valve is super convenient, letting you easily switch between filter, backwash, rinse, and more. I’ve only had to backwash once a week to keep performance high.Noise level is minimal, and the pump runs smoothly without overheating during long hours. I do recommend making sure your pool size is within the compatible range, as this pump is best for small to medium-sized above-ground pools.
