Worked! Direct for on a 20 year old fireplace. We will see how long it lasts. It was an easy 10 min swap out.

Not an exact replacement. The pilot us about 1 inch higher than the OEM for Majestic. Everything mounts ups correctly, but the flame is too far upward to light the gas in the burners. So, you will smell a lot of unburned gas quickly when the valve opens but the burners will not light. I was lucky that I kept the front glass off and the fake logs out to test it first. Otherwise, the gas would have been contained in the firebox and eventually lit all at the same time, BOOM! Buy one that matches exactly for $55 or the OEM from Majestic for about $90. Or you can do the job twice if you are the DIY guy and risk a deadly outcome. There is another review on here that the guys had to dismantle the firebox partially to get this part to fit. Just do it right the first time. Learn from my mistake.
Worked as expected

This assembly was about a 1/2” taller than the factory unit but I was able to make it work by bending the tab from the back panel up a little bit.
