The poor Amazon driver who brought this must not have been very happy... this box was heavy! It arrived simply packaged and included the spool of cable along with a basic cutter. The cable appears to be good quality and with 1000' of it presents a good value for the price. I use cable like this for a bunch of DIY needs (for example, I just anchored our raised beds onto ground spikes using similar cable) and this should work very nicely for those upcoming summer projects.

I like to use steel cable for projects where appropriate, and this will keep me going for quite a while. This 1000' spool of cable is a bit of a heavy package and comes with a simple cutter, which means I can keep everything together and not have to locate one every time. I really like that it comes on a spool rather than as a coil, I can put it on a rod and pull off what I need easily, and the cutter hangs right by it. The cable is clean, uniform, and looks really good. I'm looking forward to using it.
