Supplied with three pairs of interchangeable pads of different sizes, for a wide range of vehicle applications and plastic yoke protectors that protect the spring liner from damage that can nullify the * of the vehicle manufacturer.
Carefully designed safety inserts to prevent the spring from deforming during compression.

Acme rod threads that drive the compressor stripped after removing and installing only one spring on a dodge ram 2500. Also one of the set screw locations for securing the different spring size adapters was missing threads. Pretty disappointed in product had to buy a different spring compressor to complete other side on my truck.

This is a versatile tool allowing for the safe removal suspension springs. The cost of the item, through Amazon, made it more attractive to buy the tool rather than take the McPherson Strut to a mechanic to have the work done. Good buy.

Nicely assembled in a sturdy case, 3 sizes of cups, seems sturdy, no slippage when springs were compressed, quick and safe way to change struts/shocks. Very economical too

Good quality. Works well on various McPherson struts (Ducato, Corsa, Focus etc) and some rear coil springs. Safer and more effective (in most cases) than the much cheaper two part compressors but not as good as a hydraulic one (if you have the space) which seem to be coming down in price.
