A thousand bright yellow, gourd-shaped safety pins is what I ordered, and that's what I got. I am unwilling to count them but did an estimate based on weight and the box probably contains in excess of the advertised 1k. The color is consistent across the lot and every one I've tried to use has opened and closed easily, is suitably pointy, and does the job I tasked it with, mostly marking stitches and affixing cords to gowns in academic regalia. The color helps them stand out, which is very handy indeed--I've yet to stab myself with one because I couldn't see it.

Using these clips to tag craft items for holiday fairs. Great size, consistent quality, huge quantity, and super shiny. Way better than hand tying a bunch of strings for tags. Would definitely buy again - if I ever run out!

I'm using these to attach Halloween tags. I see no problem with these at all. They are well painted the perfect shade of pumpkin orange and they are sturdy and sharp. The price is fantastic! I would buy these again.
