I obtained this fish tape so that I had a more flexible alternative to my existing steel fish tape. This fish tape appears to be made from 3 strands of PET-coated steel wound together. It is useful for pulling through conduits, but it is a bit too flexible to push it along a dropped ceiling or attic or up through a wall, which is where a metal or fiberglass one would be more optimal. This kit includes 6 screw-on adapters including a pipe guide, a woven net-style gripper, and other hooks and loops for attaching to cables.The item description indicates that this has a removable rotating handle with a built in silicone grip, which must be for something else, because this wire pullers handle is not removable and is just hard plastic with no silicone grip.Overall, I could see myself using this for conduit wire pulls and some ceiling pulls where I have a preinstalled nylon pull string, but not really anything else.
