We ordered this ice maker and it arrived February 18, 2025 and the small "aquarium" pump in it has already gone bad.

I received an ice maker. It arrived well packaged in a protective box, and it was in perfect condition. This might be useful for small commercial establishments that require ice throughout the day, or could also find use in a home setting as an ice making accessory for a kitchen or bar, particularly if your freezer doesn’t have an ice maker. This ice maker is fairly small, measuring about 13.5 inches wide and deep, and about 26 inches tall. It isn’t particularly heavy when empty, weighing about 38 pounds. It requires a wall receptacle for power, and draws about 220 watts (I confirmed with a power meter), which seems quite reasonable. I was happy to see this product has ETL safety certification (verified on ETL web site). It also requires a water supply, which can be provided either by using gravity fed bottled water (cooler style of bottle, I did not test) or by attaching the ice maker to a pressurized water supply using the included plastic tubing and adapters. There is also a drain hose that utilizes gravity to drain the ice compartment of the ice maker, and the level of the hose needs to be lower than the drain outlet of the ice maker (near the bottom of the machine).I connected my ice maker by attaching it to my water supply. I noticed that the female hose adapter that was included with the ice maker was smaller than the threaded standard male fitting on my laundry tap, so you might need a different size adapter in some situations. As I own a water purification system that uses 1/4 inch plastic pipe that is the same as the ice maker, I ended up connecting my ice maker directly to my water purifier. After washing the inside of the water purifier, I started it up, and it immediately started to make ice. Each cycle of the ice maker takes about 12 minutes using the default setting, and there are some adjustments that can be made to the size of the cubes which make the cycles slightly longer or shorter. I was pleased that the ice maker wasn’t very noisy, and exceeded my expectations in this regard. When the cubes fall down into the ice storage bin, they often are stuck together. Breaking them up into individual cubes is quite simple using the included ice scoop to stir the cubes in the bin. As there is no active cooling of the storage bin, the cubes will slowly start to melt over time, and how fast this occurs likely depends upon the room temperature. I noticed that it took about 3 hours to fill the storage bin with ice to the point that the machine automatically shut off. At this point, I stirred the ice in the storage bin, which then lowered the ice level significantly, and the machine started up again. After about another hour, the bin was once again full. The ice maker makes medium size cubes of ice using the default time setting, and due to the method used to make them, they have a bit of a hollow in the middle (especially with the shorter cycle times), and this is similar to the ice I’ve encountered with some other ice makers. I weighed the ice made in a 90 minute time period, and found it made 4.4 pounds. This suggest the machine could make about 70 pounds in 24 hours, which is a bit lower than mentioned on the web page. I also measured the weight of ice that was present in a full ice storage bin, and found the ice weighed about 9 pounds, which was quite a bit lower than the web page mentioned (22 pounds). Other than these 2 discrepancies, the ice machine worked well and produced nice quality ice. Overall, a good machine, but perhaps its volume of production and storage capacity are a bit off.

It’s says right inside the instructions manual that “ it’s not a refrigerator “ and that the ice melts overnight . Plus the ice storage area is very small

Not a “commercial” Ice Maker! Not listed in the description, but in the instructions booklet “this machine will not hold ice overnight and will melt”It’s poorly made and is not an “under counter” size it’s very small to be called a under counter ice maker

I absolutely love this machine! We’re having issues with the water filtration so relying on those big five gallon jugs of water now. Summer is here and since I can’t make ice in my freezer this is the perfect solution. We have a big household so I’m able to make plenty of ice to keep in the freezer and not run out, even with the heat. It’s small enough that I can put on the counter and drain into the sink but for me it’s a huge deal that I can use water bottles and not rely on tap. Not only is this great to hold me over until the filtration system is fixed but it means that I can also use it outside next to the pool. While not a freezer, it’s great to have ice without running in and out of the house and I can put already frozen ice pops in the ice and they stay frozen. Super easy to use and I’ve have no problems with it.

I love my ice maker, I personally am using it for my in home bar and I have to say it works wonders!Personally my favourite thing about it is that you don't need to hard wire it to a water line if you don't want to. You're able to place a water jug on the top of the ice maker and have it feed water for all your usage. This is the route I personally went myself, and it has been great and made for a lot easier installation. For operation it was straight forward on how to use it. I have tested and used a good amount of ice makers in my time personally, and did not find this one to be complex by any means even for its higher quality and production size.Build quality is top tier in my opinion. It is well built, solid, and looks very appealing. Something that you would find typically acceptable in a bar setting. The different ice sizes were nice, all of which was straight forward on the ice machine panels in order to select the ice you wanted to come out of the machine. From a cold start no ice its takes about 10 minutes to get its fist batch out on the bigger cubs I was using. Something you can start up, prepare you drink and it'll be done or almost done by the time you are.Volume wise it's noticeable when its going, sitting idle its no louder then a fridge. But when its producing its a audible noise that comes from it.Personally I recommend this to anyone that is a daily ice user or commercial business. If you're looking for some ice here and there it is a lot larger then what you would need and a lot more expensive.I am very happy with it, and personally have no complaints.

Machine was working great and loved it at first I bought it January 22 and it is now March 1 An error keeps popping up the screen and it’s giving E2 error. I try to troubleshoot fixing the problem that it says in the manual I cannot get a hold of the seller do not buy this product if you want problems can’t even get a hold of the seller for something that’s a month old. It’s just a waste of my money was really sad because it was working great and thought it was a great product but for it to stop working and not produce any ice within a month of me purchasing, it is ridiculousUpdate March 25. The manufacturer has finally reached out to me and we are working on a solution to get it fixed or replaced will update once it gets fixed.(wasn’t until I started a dispute on my card that the manufacture got a hold of me.)update April 16 just received the new ice machine replacement. I’m going to test it out for a few days then will update.Update April 27 so far the new ice machine has been absolutely amazing. No issues. Its honestly a very good machine and works really well. Makes plenty of ice. Perfect if you’d like to have all your drinks with ice and don’t ever have to worry about running out. Makes ice pretty fast as well. Honestly would give this a five star review was only a little frustrated because it was very difficult to get a hold of the manufacture when I did have a problem with the first defective machine it wasn’t until I started a dispute that the company finally got a hold of me took almost a month for me to hear anything back, but they finally got back to me and were able to give me a replacement which I am very grateful for so overall I give this a four star review just because of how difficult it was to get a hold of the manufacture, but I’m very grateful. They took care of everything and would definitely recommend getting this ice machine if you are looking for one and luckily the company will definitely take care of you if there’s an issue, even if it might take a little bit of time.If anything ever changes on this ice machine, I will definitely update my reviewThank you again to the manufacture and company for sending me a replacement and fixing the issue

I like that it can use a large jug on top but ended up buying a 6 filter reverse osmosis system to keep the ice coming. You can turn the light off by pressing the button next to where it says hot, not sure what that's about. Yup that's my laundry room LOL.
