Worked better than the smooth metal u shape ones. The spiral cut gave the ground something to grip. Easy to use, can’t really see them so that’s a plus.

Very disappointed in this product. These are very weak compared to original no dig stakes, you can bend them with your hand. Bought the 100 pack but dozens of them bent and broke just using a mallet to put into the dirt.

We found we needed many more nails than came with our lawn edging. These were not the same brand as the edging but they worked fine and were a lot less expensive than the ones sold by the edging company.

These are solid round edging spikes. Not the "X" ones. You can pound them and they're tough enough to drive into the ground without bending. I had a 12" long thin screwdriver, that I used as a depth gauge when I knew I had concrete below the edging holes. (example: around my fence posts) Then I would sink my screwdriver in first and measure how deep I could drive a spike before it hit cement. Then I used a side cutter plier to cut the spike to the correct length. They're pretty tough to cut and hard plastic so they snap off when cut. Then I could drive the spike in without bending it. Good stuff and you're going to need extra spikes so buy a bag you won't go wrong with these.
