These ants drive me crazy and move through my neighborhood eventually eating their way through ornamentsl, espevially rose bushes and floweting trees. I use these rounds for containing the mulch, aesthetic look, watering and finally i add a tiny bit of insect adhesive to the rim. Ant avoidance.

I put in an herb garden today and used the water rounds - worked perfectly. Easy to weed and my herbs are doing much better in the ground then they did in pots.

it is supposed to be strong, heavy duty material BUT one of the rings "cracked " when I tried to open it to put around the tree! other then this they seem to be doing their purpose

I recently downsized to a low maintenance yard with mostly landscape fabric covered by gravel but I missed my old fruit trees. I raked away the gravel and cut holes in the landscape fabric and dug out holes for trees. I then installed these well built rings to contain water, fertilizer, and mulch and to keep the gravel out. They are effective and look really neat and lovely (I think). I'm looking forward to enjoying my yard next summer with happy trees.

This product is very flimsy, you would think that for the price they would be made of a more thicker plastic ..It's hard to maneuver them into place because the walls won't stay completely round since the material is so thin and flexible...not sure how they will hold up to the sun exposure or being weeded ate around..

I absolutely love these water retainer rings. They are sturdy, perfectly round ,easy to install and worth every penny. I bought them because l needed to make a ring for one of my trees because, l tried making a ring from edging that comes in a roll and l could not for the life of me make a perfect circle. So, l needed some stakes for my board edging from Amazon and l came across these. These rings you put over the tree if its smaller or if its larger- the ring has a latch which opens, you put the ring around the tree and you close the latch. They are just perfect!! Plus, the rings retains the water around the plant or tree more efficiently and the price for 6 of these babies you can't go wrong. It doesn't get better than that. Love them!!!!
