In my family, I'm the keeper of family pictures. I've had many requests over the years, often from elderly family members, for copies of pictures in my possession. I've always provided them, but found the process expensive and not very satisfactory. My intention in choosing this electronic picture frame was as a proof of concept, to see if this could become a better way to provide a large number of pictures to relatives who wanted them. Since most of these relatives are elderly and not at all technologically inclined, my intention was to test this myself in order to see whether it was suitable for this purpose.I won't go over everything I did to put this to the test, as I think the reader would be bored! Suffice to say, I tried to break it but couldn't. I found it easy to load, easy to operate, reliable, with a clear picture, and more or less elder-proof. But to be certain that this was a way to go, I invited all those who were interested to a family dinner after which they all played with the digital photo frame to see if they could use it and to see if they could break it or in any way get stuck. The test was a huge success. Everyone loved the clear pictures, the fact that we could all share them, the ability to see family movies, the storage all in one place. No one had the least trouble using this simple but wonderful device. Most said they had never seen our pictures as clearly as on this screen - some of which I had digitally enhanced for exactly that purpose.Well, you don't have to be technologically challenged to enjoy and make use of this clever device. It's not huge and some may want to transition to a larger screen, but the originals of the pictures I've scanned are no larger than this screen, so everyone was satisfied with the size. It's an excellent value for the price, and we'll be purchasing a fair number of these to share among family members.

This frame was easy to set up and easy to send pictures to it. The resolution is good and the size is ok. It does feel like it could break easily and the stand doesn’t go on easily. I got this for my dad who is not very tech saavy. I am hoping that it will be easy for him to be able to put in an SD card and upload the pictures. He does not have internet. Overall I think this is a good value.

I ordered this frame as a present for my mom. I preloaded a bunch of photos on the frame and then handed it off to her. I used the computer transfer option, which is probably the easiest way to do your initial transfer simply becuase computers will process the images and transfer them faster en masse than a phone. I didn't try adding things through the app, but it seemed easy enough to do. I like that you can have it work with any phone without necessarily needing to create an account. It seems very user friendly.The picture quality on the frame is very good. It's crisp and the screen can get very bright. I am very happy with the image quality with this digital frame. There is ample storage built-in, as well, so I had no need to use an SD card, but it is nice to know that's an option if you need it. I put about 200 photos on it before giving it to my mom, and I barely bit into the built-in storage at all. Please note that 3gb of the internal storage is occupied by the OS and system, etc... (which is regular for these types of things.)There are many settings to adjust, which is good because it will suit almost everyone's preference for customization. You can even customize the border color for pictures that may be the different orientation (landscape vs. portrait.) I posted a picture of it with the screen off simply because I did not want to share personal photos in my review, but I can attest that it is nice (lightweight, too!)The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no internal battery. The frame needs to be plugged-in in order for it to work. This absolutley is not a dealbreaker, but I would have hoped for some form of a battery OR plug-in option. The cord for the power isn't particularly long, either, so you may struggle with getting power to it depending on your setup.Overal, I am highly impressed with this digital picture frame. I would certainly recommend it.
