Cute, but it just doesn't work. Consistently reads 10 to 15 degrees above the actual temperature. Found out they will not allow it to be returned. Asked for a customer service call, which I promptly got, explained the issue, and I was issued a full refund without having to return the item, so pleased with outcome. The reason for not allowing return was "health and safety reasons".

This is made to screw next to a window out side, but then gets excessively warm from sun reflection. By 10 degrees or more. So not worth the price for this inaccuracy

Since it wasn't clear to me from the picture ...First: the mounting bracket is pretty sturdy, much more so than the aluminum bracket that came with broken thermometer this replaces.Second: there are two ways that the thermometer can rotate to adjust the viewing angle.(a) The bracket arm is riveted to the bracket and can rotate on this joint.(b) At the other end of the arms (where they meet the thermometer under the finials), the thermometer can also rotate.Third: the screws that the finials are attached to are not a anchored within the thermometer housing so re-attaching the finials after unscrewing them is a minor challenge.

This mounted easily and cleanly to my exterior window molding and the gauge is very accurate. Multiple comparisons to an electronic temperature gauge resulted in the same readings on both units.

This product was easy to install. You can mount it on any wall or in a corner and angle it in essentially any direction for easy visibility. It has given very accurate temperature readings and it looks just as advertised - LARGE numbers so no squinting to see what the reading is. I would definitely recommend this over the large round flat outdoor thermometers that I have seen as the alternative.
