I have no other rosin to compare but it seems to work ok. I'll review when I've tried it more.

What I received was NOT rosin flux, it was white paste flux (consistency of a thick face cream). I had ordered, and I had required, real rosin based flux (you know, the sticky, goopy honey-colored flux), but I did not receive it. Threw it in the trash. (Title of product: "Miniatronics Corp 1065002 ROSIN Paste Flux 2 oz").

I bought this to help with soldering HO model train track. I don't know why anyone would not use flux when soldering, but anyway, it works great! You definitely want Rosin and not Acid flux for this kind of work. It cleans the metal and helps the solder to flow and adhere evenly. Thanks Minatronics!

Good product. More than what I'll ever use.Don't be scared by the 2 ounce size. There's a good bit of flux.

Used this to help with some delicate soldering on a game console. The flux worked well, I wish I could say that my soldering skills were up to par and the job went well, but I messed things up. The flux worked well though.

Used this flux for repairs and modifications on my Strat. The flux performed as it should and resulted in nice solder joints.
