Because it's universal and supposed to fit multiple sizes, it leaked when attaching it to the current hose. Even after applying the clamps.

This was a replacement for a new washer that came damaged from the big box store - go figure. The $3k washer didn't even come with a washer box drain plug! Thank you LG...Installed quickly and fit well. The drain tube plug is the best part; keeps the smells from the drain P-trap.
