Seems measurements are more or less printed on rather than etched. But its solid and sturdy. Worth it. Does what it should.

This was the cheapest of the metal card string height, so I was expecting the detail to be a bit sloppy. It isn’t !! I have a few of these of different sizes and prices, and there simply does not seem to be a single difference between them in terms of precision and accuracy.

Although the finish on the one I received seems to be a bit weird, I could read everything fine. I won't wear it out in my lifetime. (I used it just today...I'm no luthier, but it sure worked for me when I was checking action on my Taylor.)

For such a cheap little piece of sheet metal, it really is pretty close to perfect. The only thing that might be just the tiniest hair off would be the string gauge lines/shapes at the top and bottom edges. In the pics here, they look like little rectangle grids. Mine just has little rectangles with one white line across the top. Not a big deal, but not the same as on here. I used a Mr. Pen machinist ruler and a Wescott regular ruler to compare the actual measurement sections. All the inches and mm measurements matched up pretty perfectly... at least as far as I could see without a microscope! See pics attached.Radius tools are just as they appear in the listing and seem fine.
