Unlike other listings, these are in fact, solid brass. Some other offerings are coated (left side in the images), whereas these are solid brass (right side in the images). The laser settings were the same with both. The ablation with the other offering was clearly poor due to the material (even after polishing), but these look good pretty much straight from the laser without polishing. The examples are shown after applying only steel wool and brass cleaner. If polished in a tumbler with polishing compound it would be even better.The thickness is 2.14 mm at the rim and 1.86 in the center so they can't be engraved very deeply. They measure 39.97mm in diameter.

These challenge coins are different.bigger surface for engraving. Real solid brass coin for deep engraving, will definitely buy again!

These worked great. Exactly what I needed.Nice weight and Nice packed! The engraving blank is 100% brass! This is the most important thing!

Excellent blanks for laser engraving. They engraved fairly easy and gave a really good result. They are what they say they are and work really well for a high quality finished result.
