Okay, so I'm not using these eyehooks for my hammock, yet, but I am hanging our bamboo blinds from them. Yes, the blinds are rather light, so these hooks are definitely overkill. However, when we get big winds coming through, we have had smaller eyehooks tear out. So we're making this upgrade and can be sure that even if our bamboo blinds won't withstand an out-of-nowhere tornado, these eyehooks will survive unharmed.They are made of solid metal; no cheap lightweight alloys here. Now, as soon as we get the moat dug, and filled with crocodiles. I still have two left for hanging my hammock.

I'm a bit of a plant fanatic at the moment and these are the best! I have done quite a few hanging plants and sometimes the hanger comes with something that goes in the ceiling, sometimes not. But these are great. They are sturdy, easy to install, and are very versatile. You can even screw them partially in (be sure you test the weight) to extend the length of what you're hanging. This is a good sized bag of these screws.
