I recently started leather work and these are exactly what I was hoping they would be. They hold the seam securely while sewing. Solid, secure, precise. Already planning on buying more.

I have to say, the more I use these the less impressed I am. So far, about half of them don't hold. The idea is wonderful. and the few times they held their position, they made my hand sewing of my leather projects so much easier. I might have to try the larger version to see if they hold any better.
