The first drill bit broke. The second one drilled the hole but after tapping the hole the screw would not hold. PS I bought two of these. Same results

I ordered these to remove some broken anchors from my pool when it came, I really couldn’t figure out how to use them. Unfortunately I had to return them.. Maybe someone with a little more handyman skills could’ve figured it out . It seemed easier in the description than it was. I didn’t want to give it less than four stars because the issue could’ve been Me just not having the skill set.

Wasn’t sure about spending 40 bucks on this kit but I’m glad I did. Didn’t come with instructions but they are posted as part of the ad for it. I didn’t use a wrench when it came time to pull the anchor out, I used an 11mm socket with a 3/8 drive wrench and the busted anchor popped out with ease I couldn’t believe it. I was able to replace 4 seized up anchors in about 10 min or less. Great product.

This tool is really great for removing old anchor hold downs. Once i figured out how to use it (instructions do not tell you to use the bearing sleve under the washer) all went well. I removed 6 bad anchors in short order. Make sure you do a good job creating new threads after drilling

Overall, it works and no complaints about it. I had three that I needed to remove and two I had messed around with prior to getting this tool. I was able to remove two of the three without any issues with this tool. The third was just in too bad of shape (drilled out too much) and could not be removed. Broke the drill bit on the third one, but I expected that may happen. Overall, 4 stars.

Everything worked like it should! Just a tip, make sure to drill all the way down on low speed. Use the tap all the way down also, working it back and forth. Thread the bolt all the way down. Replaced 8 anchors with no issue!

I was skeptical as to if this would work or not; however, I had several pool cover anchors that are stuck and became stripped. I carefully followed the directions and was able to quickly remove the old pool cover anchors. Just take your time, especially when put in the threads, and you can get the anchor out of the concrete.
