Exactly what I was looking for my backyard. There’s this new hack to cooking eggrolls and it’s to lay them vertically and cook them all at once. This has a strainer which will be perfect for my mission.

Best thing about this pot is that it’s huge. It’s 10 qt deep. Making it easier to fry or cook large quantity. This pot is versatile, it’s not only limited to frying. You can use it for anything such as boiling, sautéing etc. it’s great for the money value. The pot is pure aluminum so it’s very simple to clean it making cooking a great experience. I love this.

This pot is very thin and doesn't seem very durable (unlike the cardboard box it came in, which seemed strong enough to build a house lol). There were absolutely no instructions included whatsoever. It's easy enough to assemble, but it may not be easy for everyone. Also, no information on cooking temperatures, cleaning, etc.I'm curious to give it a try out camping to see how it holds up. Until camping season, I'll probably just use it for pasta, potatoes, hardboiled eggs and the like.Not overly thrilled with this item and I think it's overpriced for what you get.

I got this to go with my portable burner in hopes that I could fry more in less time. In theory, it looked good. It has a lot of space and the basket is handy.However it is extremely thin, and it took longer to heat the oil than it does for me to heat and cook everything in my smaller old little pot. The metal handles got too hot for me to use without a rag or mitt, everything is so thin and light that the basket threatened to topple or tilt hot metal into my arm every time I tried to let food drip dry with the holder. Trying to get the strainer clean of batter that cooked into the holes and under the bottom took more time than I like as well.The thermometer is no better. It read eight degrees higher than my more accurate digital thermometer, so if I hadn't checked that first, I would have fried meat at below-recommended temperatures. (Always test a thermometer before trusting it).It technically gets the job done - eventually. But with all the near burns, extra time and mess, flimsy holder for draining the basket, and an inaccurate thermometer, I had to take off quite a few stars. It's not something I would recommend to any of my friends.

Sadly this is one of these over-hyped products. PREMIUM QUALITY CONSTRUCTION. When handling the pot, which weighs around 614g/1.35lbs and the fryer basket 333g/0.73lbs, you must worry that it won't bend by just looking at it. The whole parts feel so thin and cheap.The provided handle is so uncomfortable and edge that it hurts in your hand when you lift out the basked with some weight in it. The 3 screws provided to attach the handle to the basket are not food grad screws, You can find the same ones in a hardware store.Also the basket tilts empty forward back into the pot. When filled with any food it basket gets front heavy and bends into the frying oil because the aluminum is so thin and bends from the weight.Another issue is temperature. Since the pot is so thin it takes forever to heat up oil unless you use a commercial high heat burner. That however is to hot for the pot.Maybe you can use this one for pasta but frying is a far stretch. Apparently there is a more expensive stainless steel version available. Maybe that one is better since its probable more robust
